Wellness exams/preventative care are extremely important to your pet's overall health and comfort.  It prevents disease and allows for early detection as well as intervention that reduces suffering and saves lives.  We provide wellness exams for every stage of your pet's life.  Dr. Belcher will perform a comprehensive exam of your pet, from head to tail, to detect any abnormalities and address any issues your pet may be experiencing. Diagnosis and treatment of your pet is easily done with mobile services. Our facility is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for all your pet's needs.  We can diagnose and treat many of your pet's illnesses, acute or chronic, just like a traditional veterinary clinic. For more serious cases requiring hospitalization, we work closely with surrounding traditional clinics and 24 hour emergency clinics to achieve positive results for your sick pet.

Vaccinations are tailored to your pet's needs. Our staff will assess your pet's risk level and make recommendations for a vaccination protocol designed specifically for your pet.

General Surgery  is performed in our on-board surgical suite. A wide variety of surgeries can be performed with recovery achieved in the comfort of the pet's own environment. To help ensure a safer procedure for your pet, we highly recommend pre-anesthetic blood work. We continuously monitor your pet's vitals during all procedures and utilize the safest anesthetic protocol to allow your pet a rapid and comfortable recovery.   Pre-operative and post-operative pain management is of the utmost importance to our staff.

Dentistry is important to your pet's overall health.  According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats show signs of oral disease by the time they are 3 years of age. Lack of proper preventative and therapeutic care can lead to periodontal disease which affects the soft tissues and structures supporting the teeth. Left untreated, this can cause pain, tooth loss, and systemic complications including damage to the heart, kidneys and liver. Taking care of the oral cavity will help to take care of the rest of the body.  Our dental services include a professional dental cleaning/polishing, dental extractions, and other minor oral surgery.

Digital X-Ray is available with our on-site x-ray equipment. Digital radiography creates detailed, high quality radiographs which allow for a rapid assessment of your pet's condition. For more complicated cases, digital x-rays can be reviewed by a board certified radiologist to assist in a quick diagnosis.

Laboratory Diagnostics are available with rapid, accurate results. Our veterinary commercial laboratory provides testing for chemistries/electrolytes, complete blood counts, heartworm testing, urinalysis, Feline Leukemia/Feline AIDS testing, and more.

Microchipping is a permanent form of identification which helps return a lost pet to their owner. Implantation can occur at any time during your pet's life, but we recommend doing this at the time of spay/neuter.

Nutrition Consultation is best done during puppyhood, but can be addressed at any age. Evaluation, done by Dr. Belcher, is a complete assessment of your pet's nutritional needs throughout it's life span. Recommendations are made based on your pet's age, weight, and breed with focus on keeping your pet at ideal weight throughout it's life. Studies have shown that maintaining your pet's ideal weight, from puppyhood to senior stage of life, allows for a healthier, longer life span.

Behavior Consultation is best done in the pet's own environment and often needed for issues related to inappropriate urination, excessive barking/digging, aggression, anxiety, or more. Dr. Belcher offers advice in all aspects of behavioral problems and works with a board certified veterinary behaviorist when the need arises.

Domestic/International Health Certificates are required for air travel with your pet. Dr. Belcher is certified to issue both Domestic and International certificates.  Please contact our office to discuss what information you need to obtain prior to the appointment and when to schedule your pet's exam for travel. We also recommend you have a veterinarian selected in the area of your destination. You can find a local veterinarian, when you travel, by visiting  www.myveterinarian.com and using their search engine. Always plan ahead just in case you are in need of veterinary care for your pet while traveling.

On-Line Pharmacy is provided, for your convenience, to obtain any prescription medication or diet your pet requires.  Our on-board pharmacy in limited to products needed for quick access. However, the on-line pharmacy offers a wide range of prescription medications and diets which are delivered directly to your home.  Medications and diets are manufactured in the United States and therefore are safe and effective for your pet.  Prescription medications and diets can be auto-delivered eliminating the stress and worry of potentially missing a dose of your pet's medication or running out of your pet's prescription food. No products are imported, all products are made in the USA.

Pain Management is extremely important to our staff. We provide a multi-modal approach in pain control.  Dr. Belcher will work with you to develop a pain protocol especially designed for your pet's needs. She will incorporate not only prescription medications, but also over-the-counter supplements and natural products/therapy which work synergistically to provide your pet with optimal pain relief. Whether your pet suffers from a chronic pain, i.e. arthritis, or short term pain, i.e. post-surgical, Dr. Belcher's main objective is to help keep your pet pain free.

Hospice Care becomes an important consideration when you have an ill, senior pet. We work with the owner to make your pet's final days as comfortable as possible. Whether it is comforting the pet through pain management, or comforting the client through support, you can always count on our staff. Your pet's quality of life is of the utmost importance to our staff and we will advise you on when it comes time to say goodbye to your special friend.

In-Home Euthanasia is a service we offer in the privacy of your home. The final act of love for the pet owner is difficult, but can be made easier when you and your pet share a comfortable, familiar surrounding. In-home euthanasia eliminates the emotional stress and anxiety of traveling with your pet, to a veterinary clinic, to say goodbye. Remaining in the pet's environment allows the pet a comfortable, peaceful, painless, stress-free passing. Our goal is to allow you and your family to grieve privately in the comfort of your own home. We respect the animal bond you have created with your pet, and want the final moments to be a personal experience between the pet and the owner.

Cremation Services are available upon request. We work closely with local cremation businesses who will treat your beloved pet with respect and dignity.
